About the Septic System How old? When was it last pumped? Who services it? Where is it located? Is it in good working condition?

About the Well Is it drilled, dug, bored or sand point? What type of pump does it use, and how old is the related equipment? Where is the well located, and what is the quality of the water? What's the quantity of water or the flow rate? When was the water last tested, and what were the results? Is the well shared with other neighbors and if so, is there a registered agreement?

About underground storage tanks Are there any and where are they located? What type of tank is it? Is the present owner agreeable to removing the tank?

About Dump Sites Check the back 40 if buying a large acreage. Are there any old dump sites or used cars at the back of the property?

About the Telephone Poles Is there a long laneway leading to that private setting? Who owns the poles, and who is in charge of maintenance?

Abandoned Wells Are there any, and have they been decommisioned and capped?
